Here is a very preliminary map of the flooding (cross-hatched area) that will occur in the Sun City Center area. The computer model and map-drawing are still being refined. A more accurate map will be generated and made public in the Fall of 2005. Then there will be a 90-day period for public comments on its accuracy. After that the map will be reworked and become official sometime in 2006.

Unfortunately, the bottom of the map stops with Platinum Drive. There are a number of streets south of Platinum, including Misty Greens, Lenox Greens, Crystal Greens, and Villeroy that aren't covered by the map. The official draft map will be made available in September or October and will be posted here at that time.

This map is at a medium resolution of 1227x963. If you want to copy it into a paint program so that you can zoom in to check your own property, right click on the image, and then in the box that drops down, left click on "Save Image as" (or whatever) and save it to some directory. Then start your paint program and Open the file from that directory.
